Confirm fiber grade, count, loose-tube or drop direction, strength member, water blocking, metallic elements, armor if required, sheath, dimensions, and mechanical limits.

Termination system

Match closures, terminal boxes, ODFs, trays, glands, pigtails, adapters, fast connectors, grounding, and reserve storage to the exact cable.

Length and logistics

Lock route sections, overlength, drum or coil length, direction, reel size, end sealing, markings, labels, test records, delivery sequence, and unloading limits.

Is every PE-sheathed fiber cable suitable for direct burial?

No. Sheath material alone does not define armor, crush, water blocking, rodent protection, tensile limits, sealing, route suitability, or local installation rules.

What determines drum length for an outdoor route?

Use route sections, pull points, bends, maximum tension, access, joint locations, reserve, reel dimensions, transport, unloading, and installation sequence.

How should an FTTH drop cable be matched to a connector?

Confirm fiber type, cable dimensions, strength members, strip and cleave method, fast-connector or pigtail fit, strain relief, route protection, and field acceptance.
