Use both views. A floor and telecom-room schedule controls where items are installed, while a consolidated product summary supports quotation, packing, and purchasing. Keep the same line identifiers in both.
Base the decision on the required application, channel design, PoE and bundle conditions, pathway space, expected service life, and project standard. Do not select Cat6A only from a product-name comparison.
Record spare outlets, panel ports, rack space, fiber cores, and pathway allowance separately. The percentage is a project decision; making each reserve visible avoids hiding it inside approximate quantities.
