Focused product range

Shielded LAN cable designed as an end-to-end pathway.

A foil or braid is useful only when screen continuity, connector fit, rack bonding, grounding, installation, and acceptance testing are planned together. Compare the actual construction rather than relying on category wording alone.

System role

Screened copper cabling for electrically noisy routes, equipment areas, industrial offices, dense racks, and projects that specify shield continuity.

Selection framework

Four decisions to settle before the quotation.

01

Screen construction

Confirm overall foil, pair foil, braid, drain wire, coverage, cable OD, connector termination, and the notation required by the project.

02

Grounding pathway

Map shield continuity through cable, jacks, panels, plugs, patch cords, rack bonding, and the building grounding design.

03

Category and topology

State the required link category, frequency basis, length, connector count, equipment interface, and permanent-link or channel acceptance method.

04

Route environment

Review EMI sources, separation, tray or conduit, bundle density, temperature, moisture, jacket requirement, and pulling conditions.

Buyer questions

Resolve the details that change the order.

These answers help define the requirement. Final limits and evidence still depend on the exact quoted construction.

01

Does a shielded cable automatically reduce interference?

Only when the complete screened channel is correctly selected, terminated, bonded, grounded, and installed. A disconnected or inconsistent screen can undermine the intended result.

02

Can shielded cable terminate in an unshielded jack?

That loses the planned continuity and should not be assumed acceptable. Confirm the complete component set and grounding design with the project owner.

03

What should a shielded cable quotation identify?

It should identify the screen construction, conductor, jacket, OD, cable print, length format, matching hardware, grounding basis, test requirement, quantity, and packaging.
